Curious how I got here?
First came half a decade of marketing in the California tech industry.
Did I burn the candle at both ends trying to keep up with this oh-so hectic industry? Yes. Did I learn everything about branding, content creation, and how to break through the ever-growing noise of the internet? Also yes!
Next up? Half a decade in the publishing industry.
Here, I deepened my understanding of how brands, websites, and marketing pertain to authors. I also volunteered at SCBWI, co-founded Sneak Peek Books, and began regularly attending writing conferences.
The latter was especially helpful, because I got to hear all the woes of the #authorlife. In this age of authors being expected to do more, more, more!…many authors were overwhelmed and underinspired.
Why? Because it’s hard to get excited about your next story when you’re stuck Googling “DNS settings” and “Search Engine Optimization.” (Hint: both are essential if you want people to actually find your website.)
Still, it wasn’t until I designed my own author website that things really clicked. In hindsight, it was perfectly obvious. Here I was, a writer with detailed knowledge of the industry plus a web designer and brand aficionado. But at the time, it hit like a bolt of lightning…after several friends reached out, seeking a web designer who truly understood the #authorlife.
And that's how Lynn Krueger Designs was born.
Flash forward to today…
I provide brand clarity and eliminate tech overwhelm for authors looking to uplevel their online platform. From questionnaires and templates to one-on-one strategy sessions and post-launch support, I’ve designed comprehensive packages specifically for authors’ career needs. In other words…
I take on the tech burden, freeing you to get back to your WIP.
Why? Because all that techy stuff isn’t a burden to me. At heart, I’m a design nerd who believes fonts matter, messaging matters more, and magic happens when authors feel truly seen.

Before I was designing brands or drafting novels, I grew up on stage and on film sets. Acting is a core part of who I am—it’s where I hone my voice, step into the shoes of others, and experience the world through different eyes.
It’s also what taught me confidence, clarity, and connection. These same instincts fuel every project I take on. My clients often tell me they feel heard, understood, and truly seen—and that’s no accident. Whether we’re building your website or defining your brand, I’m here to reflect the heart of your story back to you.

One of the biggest dreams that sparked this business? Freedom.
The freedom to work from anywhere, to live slowly and intentionally, and to find inspiration in new corners of the world.
I'm currently planning a six-month stay in Scotland, followed by stints in Ireland, Iceland, Italy—and maybe even Bali.
